Bob Mortimer is one half of the comedy duo. Originally a solicitor (I think), he changed career paths to become a comedian, with hit shows such as Shooting Stars.		Jeff Randall is the living half of the private detective duo. He tries to keep the business running with the aid of Jeannie and Marty and is not very good with new technology.
Vic Reeves, unsurprisingly, is the other half of the aforementioned comedy duo. Shows such as Vic Reeves' Big Night Out helped to make him a household name.		Marty Hopkirk died tragically (run over by a car during a case) and is now to spend his death helping his partner Jeff - as he is virtually the only one that can see/hear him.
Emilia Fox is the daughter of Edward Fox and attended Oxford university. She has appeared in many things including Pride & Prejudice, Rebecca and Shooting The Past.		Jeannie Hurst was Marty's fiancée until he died! She is confident, level-headed and has a superb grasp of martial arts! She helps Jeff to solve cases and is very protective of him.
