 Mel and Sue join the
CHANNEL 4 MORNING team
Great news...once again Mel and Sue with grace our screens in a hark back to the "golden age" of LL. |

They present a half hour segment of RI:SE between 9am
and 9:30am (originally it was 08:30 to 9am).
Alas, I, and probably a lot of other fans, will be out of
the door and long gone to work by then, so it will be
video recorders set and blank tapes a plenty in order to
catch them on the show.
Despite a bumpy start (which is, by no means, over), it
appears Mel and Sue's part of the show is certainly being
enjoyed by their fans, who are making the most of seeing
the comedy duo back on our screens. By revamping the
show and bringing in Mel and Sue, it appears that Channel
4 are trying to capture something of the success enjoyed
by The Big Breakfast in the 1990s. |
