Sue has taken up the challenge that sent
Vanessa Feltz mad last year...10 days in the Big Brother house! |
| |
| Sue entered the house on Wednesday 20th November
along with five other celebrity housemates: Les Dennis, Anne
Diamond, Mark Owen, Goldie and Melinda Messenger. |
| |
Sue
has taken some bits and bobs into the house, including a
guitar, "Connect 4" and her trademark Parka coat,
which she's been seen to wear whilst having a fag or two in
the garden. |
| |
| Mel said she was disappointed she
wasn't going into the house herself...not least because
seven-month-old Flo is teething at the moment and she could do
with some decent kip. |
| |
 |
In preparation for the event, Mel says she has
been training Sue, both physically and mentally, acting as a
kind of "Bullet Baxter figure" (from Grange Hill - left). |
| |
| Mel has also advised her comedy
partner to shrink from conflict and stick to being "cheeky and
making gags". |
| |
| Sue's talents are said to include
cooking and doing a "good line in Hendrix" on her guitar.
Indeed, Sue and Mark Owen have already been composing songs
about the quilt sewing challenge the housemates were given.
I'm not sure that this will be enough to jump-start Owen's
career again though!! |
| |
| Having survived the first round of
nominations, it will be interesting to see what happens after
Sunday's eviction - especially if that happens to be
Goldie, as Sue will lose her "Connect 4 nemesis". |
| |
Goldie has indeed been the first celebrity to leave the BB
house. Sue shouted that she "will miss pincering"
Goldie, referring to the strategy used in the games of Connect
4 that they played. Goldie replied that he will also
miss the "pincer movement" before leaving the house to face
the public. I wonder who will prove a worthy Connect 4
opponent now?? Maybe Melinda?? |
| |
Well, the show is over and our Sue was the third housemate
to be evicted. Bizarrely, the housemates left in the
order they arrived. How strange is that? I have to
say, it was probably a good thing that she went when she did,
as she certainly didn't seem a shadow of the normally witty
and fun-loving Sue that everyone recognises. She seems
to have bounced back now, if the BBC London show on Saturday
30th November is anything to go by. Well done, Sue! |
| |
| Hopefully I will update this site to
reflect the key moments of Sue's time in the house. In
the meantime, the Channel 4 site is still up and running... |
